Basilia Leather makes handmade leather goods that are inspired by love for country style and fashion. Each leather item is carefully crafted with great attention to detail. Our leather goods feature designs that were hand drawn and painted by Krystal, the maker and designer of Basilia Leather. She expresses her passion for art through each and every leather item that she creates and enjoys working with her hands taking pride in each product.
Leather craft has been in her family for three generations. Her grandfather Thomas O’Connell learned the craft in Brazil as a young boy, he passed the trade down to his daughter Basilia, who then taught her daughter Krystal. Each generation brought their own influences and vision to the craft.
